Central London Film Calendar

This is a heavily condensed cinema listings aggregation tool for all the central London cinemas I check out. The objective is to give a data heavy single page overview of as many events as possible so it's easy to plan out in advance and to find interesting things on the spur of the moment while in town.

Due to the sheer pummelling the BFI website has to take to pull this data, I will only have it update when new catalogues come out. This will miss a lot of general release films as a result.

As it's a fairly simple data fetching tool, there will be some errors in listings but the key information should be accurate. The UI was focused on desktops initially but will gradually become a bit more mobile friendly. The site is being made for my own use so unless other people inform me they are using it I am likely to make major changes on a whim to suit my use cases.

Future objectives include the following:

• Add a few more cinemas (Rio)
• Improve mobile experience
• Make exportable calendar(s)
• Add OMDb integration for additional film info
• Tidy up various data inconsistencies
• Experiment with other UIs
